Brown’s Vote Emphasizes Role of Moderates

Newly elected Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown shocked the nation last month when he took over Ted Kennedy’s seat.  Well, he’s done it again.  Brown is in favor of the jobs bill.

The bill is offering tax breaks for businesses that hire new employees this year.  It is estimated that the tax credit could open up 250,000 new jobs. 

This has impacted Washington by emphasizing the role of moderate Republicans.  As Democrats no longer possess a filibuster-proof Senate majority, they must gain the votes of their more centrist opponents.

Another moderate, just what we need! No wonder he likes John McCain. Kennedy lives on. The next vote in the senate will be amnisty to all. If you want that then vote for the liberal McCain.
