Iran Seizes Human Rights Lawyer's Nobel Prize

Iran's government is at it again, this time they have upset the Norwegians, something that is not very easy to do. Iranian authorities confiscated the Nobel Prize awarded to human rights attorney Shirin Ebadi, a major critic of the Tehran who most recently has been outspoken about the Iranian elections in June.

Tehran says the prize was confiscated because Ebadi owes back taxes, a claim Ebadi rejects because the taxes being referred to, she says, are taxes on the Nobel Prize award which is not taxable under Iranian law.
